Did you know? The water and sanitation crisis claims more lives through disease than any war claims through guns. Invisible pollutants in tap water are destructive and deadly. Over 140 known water contaminants are currently not regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Bottled Water companies are not regulated; many of them get their water straight from the tap. Others willfully deplete local water supplies with no concern for neighboring communities. If you think this does not involve you, please check out this trailer for the movie Flow.
There are over 116,000 human-made chemicals in public water supply systems. ~ William Marks, Author, Water Voices from Around the World.

Drinking water that supports strong immunity and well-being should be a birthright, but it has become something everyone needs to think about. Without water, there is no life, and our water supplies have been damaged and polluted everywhere, including remote places. Earth conditions and the weather have become dramatic and unpredictable. Don't you think it is wise to be prepared?

Staying Aware
The recent yearly report to the President from the President's Cancer Panel is focused on environmental factors that contribute to cancer, and pollutants found in water are seen as one of the greatest dangers, in particular, prescription medications. A U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) study from 2002 shows that city reservoirs, as well as 80% of streams, contain medications for blood pressure and diabetes, antibiotics, antidepressants, anticonvulsants, hormone replacement therapy drugs, heart medications, oral contraceptives, chemotherapy drugs, and even codeine. The federal government does not regulate the dumping of prescription drugs into water; drug companies and hospitals routinely flush hundreds of millions of pounds of pharmaceuticals into waterways nationwide, as shown in this report from the Associated Press. Many households also flush their unused drugs; treatment plants simply do not have the ability to filter drugs and medications.

Important to know - it's not just that so much water has gotten polluted. This YouTube
